Cononut bead anyone?!

While cleaning up the Luau last night, I came across a piece of paper on the floor, as I picked it up and look at what was written, I realized, written upon the paper was the recipe of the Tahitian coconut bread. I cannot believe it. This is my favorite bread.

I decided I will be nice and share it with you, so you can all make this bread, and have a little experience with Polynesian food.

This is all you need :

2 Cups Fresh Grated Coconut
4 Cups of Flour
2 teaspoon of Baking Powder
1.5 Cups of Sugar
1.5 Cups of Water

This what you need to do :

Combine fresh grated coconut, sugar and water.
Blend flour and baking powder together.
Mix all ingredients to a doughy texture adding little flour as ned so it is not too sticky.
Wrap in aluminum foil and bake in oven at 350 for an 60 to 90 minutes.

This recipe makes 5 loaves of bread. Enjoy!!!

On cloud Nine

Introduction:

This week has been rather eventful. There are ups and downs.

Down side:

Learning the Japanese language has been more than overwhelming. There have been days where I just felt I should drop the class. I felt I am the laziest student in class. There are many days where I just do not understand what is being spoken in class. However, test results prove to be another reality altogether.

D and I have not been on talking terms for a little while now. There seem to be dead stillness that hangs in the air whenever we come together. Claire remarked once that we look so shy talking to each other. Geezzz… This is not good news, is it? I do not know what is going on between us, since the lines of communication between us are non-existent anymore. Each time he sees me now he would run away from me…

Up Side:

I did well on my Japanese test, better than I have ever expected. I am thinking of attempting vocal studies as my second major. I love music and I love to sing. I can sing. I swear I do not crack the glass when I sing. I used to have a crush on a guy and now it is coming to me now. I am having a crush on him again. I do not know why this is all happening now.

Maybe it is because he is showing me interest me now. He notices me and tells me things that shocks me; things about me which I have no idea he notice. He knows who I hang out with, my fashion sense, the languages I speak, my hair color, and the fact that I was never at FHE(Family home evening). I just color my hair and it is now a shade of red with violet undertones. I look warm, and I like how I look. I am flattered. I truly am, never would I think any guy would notice me and that is not to say I look hideous.

Conclusion:

So much has happen but I would still like to think I had a good week. I did!
